Work with us
A trade you cannot learn from a manual.
COIN takes on staff across the country, according to what each project needs, and we are always looking for new people — regardless of experience, gender or age. What we ask for is professionalism and conscientiousness. The trade itself we teach.
COIN began in 1941 as a one-man machinist and locksmith shop and never stopped being a workshop. What changed is what comes through the door: mechanical safes, then mechatronics, then integrated systems with software written in-house.
That progression is the reason the trade is worth learning here. Somebody who joined for the mechanical work in 2004 is now commissioning electronic locks and access systems, because the company moved and took its people with it. We would rather teach someone the next thing than replace them with a specialist.
The work
-
Workshop and mechanics
Machining, welding, fitting and finishing. Safe bodies, doors and enclosures, built and modified to specification.
-
Field service
Installation, commissioning and maintenance on site, across Kosovo. Surveys, anchoring, openings and scheduled visits.
-
Electronics and mechatronics
Locks, access control, turnstiles and ATM systems — the half of the trade that arrived after 2004 and is still growing.
-
Software and integration
Software and hardware built to the customer specification, and the integration work that connects it to what a bank already runs.
What you get
-
You are taught
Nobody arrives knowing this. You learn from people who have been doing it for decades, on real installations, from your first week.
-
Work that is finished
We analyse, design, install and service. You see a job through instead of handing it to someone you never meet.
-
Institutions as customers
Banks, utilities and public bodies. The standard is high because it has to be, and the work is checked.
-
One address
The workshop has been at the same address for over thirty years. Nobody here is far from the person who can answer a question.
How we hire
Four steps, and none of them are a test you can revise for.
We are looking for people who are careful with their hands and honest about what they do not yet know. Experience helps and is not required — most of the workshop started without it.
-
1 · You write
Tell us what you are after and what you have done. A CV is welcome, not required.
-
2 · We reply
If there is something to talk about, we say so. If there is not, we say that too.
-
3 · You visit
You come to the workshop and see the work. Bring questions — this is the part where you decide about us.
-
4 · A trial period
Agreed in writing before you start, so both sides know what is being tried.
Open positions
Nothing is open at the moment.
We still read every application. Tell us what you do and we will keep it on file — most of our technicians joined us before a position was advertised.
ApplyApply
Tell us what you do.
Speculative applications are read. Most of the people in the workshop wrote to us before there was a position to advertise. If you would rather send a CV as a file, email it and we will contact you directly.

Application form
Application received.
Someone will read it and reply. If it is a fit we will invite you in to see the workshop — that conversation tells both of us more than a CV does.
